Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in the day to day operations of the retail location. The Assistant Store Manager will achieve success through being professional, friendly, outgoing and valuing repeat business. The Assistant Store Manager will use customer service, product knowledge, communication, time management and sales ability while assisting guests to ensure a high quality visit every time. The assistant manager is the brand ambassador and the face of the Shelby Pledge and customer service program. The ASM will lead the team by coaching selling behaviors and driving all KPI’s.

Areas of Responsibility

• Coach associates to provide excellent customer service

• Assist Store Manager to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals

• Ensure daily deposits are made

• Assist in conducting weekly inventory

• Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management

• Regular, predictable attendance

• Ability to work in stressful environment

• Ability to work peacefully with co-workers

• Punctuality

• Brand ambassador 

Education / Experience Requirements

 A highly professional approach and appearance

• Strong people management skills

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)

• Serv-Safe Certified a plus

• High School Diploma

• Experience in managing 5-8 employees (min 2 year experience)

• Retail Management Experience
